My core objective was to create an internal operations system dedicated to simplifying the management of expenses and payroll. This system was engineered to seamlessly integrate within the startup's operations, thereby enhancing financial efficiency and streamlining the team's capabilities.
Database Logic
Our project commenced with a clear emphasis on the individual. We recognised the pivotal role that people played in the expense and payroll tracking system. We designed the database with an unwavering commitment to simplicity and functionality. Any data field that didn't serve a practical purpose was intentionally omitted, adhering to our core principle of efficiency and utility.
Enhanced Functionality
The true strength of this database lay in its exceptional functionality. Through the creation of distinct views and the design of user-friendly forms, we transformed what initially appeared as a straightforward database into a dynamic, engaging user experience. This advanced functionality streamlined the management of expenses and payroll while simultaneously improving the overall user experience, making financial tracking accessible and efficient.
