3) PROBLEMWHY

Most improvement ideas get prioritised on opinion. Teams struggle to show why a problem exists, what fixing it is worth, and whether the evidence actually holds up when someone pushes back.

4) WHAT I DIDHOW
  1. 01Designed a staged method that takes a problem from framing to decision: structure, evidence, diagnosis, value, challenge, decision.
  2. 02Built it as a set of tools an AI assistant can drive, so a case is worked through step by step with every claim linked to evidence.
  3. 03Added a challenge stage that tests the diagnosis against the raw data before anything reaches a decision-maker.
5) OUTCOMERESULT
  • ▲Sample case (test data): a hiring slowdown where median time to hire rose from 32 to 52 days.
  • ▲VECTOR split the delay into two roughly equal drivers: offer sign-off waits rising from 3 to 13 days, and an added interview round on stretched recruiters.
  • ▲Role mix, compliance vetting and pay were ruled out as causes.
